Programme Features
The MA in International Business is primarily suited to individuals who wish to become professional managers within an international business context. The programme provides students with a strong academic and vocational background, whilst developing the knowledge and skills expected of a practicing manager. The programme offers a broad grounding in the major disciplines of management combined with insights into the world of international finance and global strategy development. You will be expected to demonstrate the ability to apply the theoretical and conceptual to a number of “real life” international organisations via case studies in a critical fashion. When you reach the dissertation stage of the programme, you will have the opportunity to develop an in-depth, extended submission examining an area of international business focused upon a strategic issue or problem.
Based on daytime attendance of three intensive days per week, the duration of this programme is 12 months, although students may complete it over 15 months.
