PRINCE2™ Foundation Course Outline
Course Designed for:
All staff involved in projects needing a better understanding of PRINCE2™ and requiring a formal Examination qualification (1 hour multiple choice). At least 20 hours pre-course preparation is required. Pre-course reading, interactive CD and e-support are all provided.
Course Objectives:
By the end of this course Participants will be able to:
- Understand how to plan and organise PRINCE2™ projects
- Use the PRINCE2™ method to ensure quality is delivered
- Follow the processes to complete a successful PRINCE2™ project
- Take the PRINCE2™ Foundation examination
Course Content:
This three-day course is designed to maximise examination success whilst developing participants understanding of the method to be able to apply in their work. It consists of the following major areas:
- Introduction to Project Management
- All PRINCE2™ Processes from Start up to Closing a Project
- Organisation
- Planning
- Controls
- Risk management
- Quality
- Change control and configuration management
Approach:
This intensive 3 day course is designed to maximize examination success. The examination is a one hour multiple choice.
