Communicating with the MBA Team

MBA (BBS) Programme Manager:
Linda Mcintyre is the MBA (BBS) Programme Manager. Where possible please direct all MBA Programme Office enquiries through Linda.

MBA Programme Manager:
Your MBA Programme Manager (BBS) will hold weekly surgeries. To book a surgery session with your Programme Manager please phone or email her. Please note that the Programme Manager will aim to respond to emails within 2 working days.

Module Tutors:
All module related queries shall be directed to the relevant Module Tutor. All Module Tutors may be contacted via email or telephone (voice-mail). All Module Tutors will respond to messages within the earliest possible time frame. MBA

Student Notice Board:
The MBA Notice Board adjacent to the Programme Manager’s Office contains relevant MBA Programme information (e.g. list of teaching rooms for MBA modules, last minute changes to teaching schedules etc.) Please check the MBA Notice Board daily.

Student Email Boxes:
You have a University of Bolton Student Email address and email box. Please access your student email account on a regular basis. Important information will be communicated to you by email. It is your responsibility to manage your email account effectively and efficiently. You are advised to check your email box daily.

Your Contact Details:
You must ensure that the Programme Office has your correct contact details at all times. If you change address / telephone numbers please ensure that you inform the Programme Manager, Linda Mcintyre, immediately. Failure to keep your personal details up to date may result in communication delays and non-receipt of assessment results etc.

Responsibility for monitoring and responding to issues relating to the MBA Programme lies with both the Programme Manager & Registrar, BBS, the Programme Leader at the University of Bolton, the Course Committee and the University’s MBA Programme Administrator.

Student Representatives will be nominated and elected at the start of each Programme delivery to represent their cohort’s views at regular meetings of the Course Committee. A minimum of two Course Committee meetings will be held in each academic year. Details of the Course Committee are contained in section 15 of this document.
