The Integration of Chartered Manager with your Masters in Business Administration offers you the opportunity to achieve two outcomes from one course of study: a management qualification and Chartered Manager status. This is an optional addition to your Masters in Business Administration.

Chartered Manager is the highest accolade for professional managers.  It sets you apart because it independently assesses the significant impact you have made on organisational performance through the successful application of your theoretical knowledge to a critical organisational issue.

Whether you wish to progress more quickly in your career, plan for a future promotion or both, Chartered Manager demonstrates your ability and professionalism as a manager whatever your job specialisation.

There are three steps in the process to Chartered Manager:

• Completion of the Chartered Manager online assessment questionnaire (360-degree review)
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and evidence of Business Impact through a written submission (this must be linked to a work-based project that delivers results that can be evidenced)
• Attendance at a Panel Interview to present your case for Business Impact

How does Chartered Manager fit with your qualification?

• Your project/dissertation can be tailored to provide the evidence for the impact submission
• The 360-degree assessment can be integrated into developmental reviews completed as part of your qualification
• You will have exemption from the CPD element of Chartered Manager on completion of your qualification
• The upgrade to full membership with the Chartered Management Institute on completion of your qualification and a year’s membership is included

In addition to the above you need to prepare for a 45 minute panel interview
